Surgery

Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

We have been told that Adam's appendix has "perforated" and he will have surgery to remove it. The doctors are waiting for his fever to come down before doing the surgery. Most likely we will not know when Adam will have surgery but will find out after it is done. So today we are asking everyone to pray for any surgical procedure that might take place.

Pray that only what is necessary is done and that the outcome is good. Pray for the doctors putting him to sleep and those doing the procedure. Pray for Adam and that he finds comfort from those around him. Pray that when he wakes up he sees a familiar face. Pray that he is not in any pain. Pray for a quick recovery.

We are also praying Hebrews 4:16 today and asking God to have mercy on our son and bring him home soon.

I hope one day Adam will read through this prayer blog and know that many prayed for him and God was with him. He will surely have a great testimony.

Blessings to you!

  1. Hello Jennifer and Greg,
You don't know me but the Lord has led me to you. My family is praying for Adam's health and recovery. Our family has prayed for Adam for at least a year to a year and a half. We have been sponsoring Adam through Harmony Outreach. We are so happy that he will be coming to live with you. It is crazy how I "happened" upon your website and discovered that you are his forever family. We too are adopting a little boy from China and are very excited about going to get him. If you would like to email me my address is: robinspitler@gmail.com I so enjoyed reading about how the Lord led you to Adam. He is a blessed boy and I know he will bless you too. Again, we will continue to pray for his health and that the Lord will heal him quickly so you can add him to your lovely family. God bless, Robin Spitler
