Knee deep!

We are knee deep in fundraising around here.
God put some very special children on our hearts so we ARE going to visit them.
They just happen to be on the other side of the world.
So we are raising the funds needed to go.

We recently had a pancake fundraiser.
Yes, these two ARE going on the trip.

And my friend Jessica.

We got up very early a couple of weeks ago.

Sammy was there to help out.

Anne, Sarabeth, and Mollie ARE all going.

Kim role played with the  girls on how to seat our guests.
Grace and her mom Kim ARE going.

My friend Angie IS going!

My friend Patti IS going.

Why are we going?
This very special boy opened the eyes of some of my closest friends.
He had a big impact on his preschool teacher Anne.
So when God put this trip on our hearts we had no choice.

We go as we are called.

Show us a need Lord and provide a way for us to go.

So we prayed about how we might afford to take 11 people to a very special orphanage for 9 days.

Then God sent the people to our fundraiser.
These two cuties were there.

This table was full.

This one too.

It was a great morning and a successful fundraiser.

We have a couple more events planned.

I love that my 12 year old daughter is witnessing how God provides.

There is a great quote from Hudson Taylor, a missionary to the same country we are traveling to.

"God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supplies."

Exercising our right...

to VOTE!

Our two oldest boys voted in their first ever Presidential election.
I went with Stephen when he was home for Fall Break and Greg went with C.J. last week.

We hope you are voting too!

Now how about exercising your right to a haircut boys!

Happy Election Day!
